I like the way you talk Mr. Briscoe.  She was a first lady we could be proud of!

I just got Turner Classic Movies for the first time and every time I see an old movie star I'm compelled to look his/her bio up on Wikipedia.

So.  Yesterday I found out that Anthony Perkins died on 9-12-92.  After his death, his wife, Berry Berenson, always traveled to be with their grown  sons on the anniversary of his death.  She was on her way to do that on 9-11, on one of the flights that hit the World Trade Center.  I can't imagine how those poor boys must have felt.

I watched King Kong late last night, the one made in 1976 and Kong climbed up the World Trade Center! I wonder if all the ammo fired at Kong may have weakened the building structure? :-?

I found a copy of the made for TV movie that chronicles Flight 93, the one what crashed in Pennsylvania.  Near as I can tell they stayed true to history as possible.  It was tough to watch.  After the first plane hit everyone from the AF to FAA were in disbelief, not yet puting the pieces of the puzzle together.  "A hijacking?  Wow, we haven't had one of those in 40 years."  The second plane was on an unplanned dangerous path that crossed many other planes' flight paths.  No one could contact anyone on that second plane, then they lost it on the radar screen.

The rest of the movie chronicles the events on flight 93, the ones where the passengers would not be taken without a fight.

Very hard to watch.  :'(
