Below are two photos, A & B. Can you name the connection to the show that the woman in photograph A and the gentleman in photograph B have?
(Besides both being actors of an episode) ***HINT*** Think behind the scenes A) B) |
Title: Re: Picture Quiz Post by Karl Childers on Jan 24th, 2011 at 12:40pm
Alright then. I reckon that lady in A was Andy Griffiths first wife Barbara Bray Edwards Griffith and that man in B was Colin Male who played a game warden in Andy & Helen's Big day and was also the voice over announcer in the opening scenes of TAGS.

Title: Re: Picture Quiz Post by Clyde Pilot on Jan 30th, 2011 at 6:13am
Well, I know that Goober got arrested because he wrote "$200" underneath a bunch of numbers without puttin' a line between 'em. Maybe you can get away with that in the big city, but they don't cotton to that sorta thing in Mayberry.

Poor Mr. Schwump.
If he only knew he'd be the subject of such interest 50 years later. |

Schwamp would have made a great villain for some super hero. In this picture he sorta reminds me of The Penguin from Batman.

He looks a little like a grown up Jerry Mathers to me. Sorry, I don't have a picture of the Beaver to compare it with here.

Mr. Schwump has the Penguin's nose. (I believe that may be the first time in my life I ever typed that sentence.)

Sam, my dad called that thing in your photo a "Lively Lad".
Anybody else ever heard it called that? He used one with a wooden handle to clear the weeds out of the big ditch and to cut a path to the garden. (P.S. I didn't realize this would show up so far from your photo. Sorry about that!) |

Don't worry Thelscuz, I'm late to the party, too.
We called it a whick-whacker. The very site of it brought back bad memories of my mom getting fed up with us kids and making us go clear all the underbrush from our patch of woods. She had days when she was just like Aunt Bee in the midst of cleaning spree. |
