Matt 28:5-6 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

When I got up this morning the sky was overcast in gray and a fog enveloped my yard. On this Easter day I thought about the Disciples and how they must have felt on this morning, by all accounts they were lost; they had no leader, it seemed everything they had done in the last three years had died with Christ on Good Friday. They were not in the safest of places, if a mob had turned on Jesus they knew one could turn on them. When I went out at mid day the gray and the fog were gone, they had been replaced by a bright and warming sun in a big blue sky. I thought about the Disciples learning that Christ had risen from his tomb and as promised defeated death, how bright and hopeful they must have felt. This evening I will go on my back porch and watch the sun set over St. Andrews bay, with golden light the Good Lord will end this Glorious day.
