Title: Otis In Mayfield
Post by Keevy Hazelton on May 31st, 2011 at 1:54pm
Here's Hal Smith playing the part of a restaurant manager in Leave It To Beaver. Beaver is making a fuss because he won't eat his Brussell sprouts. Otis offers to bring somethig else; "We strive to keep our customers happy," to which Ward replies, "Thank you, but I think we've got all the happiness we can stand right now." ;D

Mmmm Brussel Sprouts.  I love 'em.

However, there is a variety which has a very bitter taste "Bubbles" I think they call them.

Wonder if he's got the same new shoes on that he wore when we received the plaque from the historical society in honor of his kin Nathan Tibbs?
