Nice find! I believe that's the youngest I've ever seen Aunt Bee.  She seems to be one of those ladies who looked middle age while still fairly young but then never seemed to get much older after that.

Not sure when this was taken but she can't be much older than 35 I expect.

I'm glad you pointed Bavier out Rare Nickle....  ;D

One wonders if Bavier, not sure how should I put this, not the most svelte of actresses decided to go the doting aunt route.  After all you gotta work with what the Good Lord give ya.

"Frances Bavier; nice gams.  What a dish!

Sorry,  :-[ I watched Saving Private Ryan over the weekend.

Are those Bette Davis Eyes?

Thanks, Keevy!  I love that picture.  I have to work at it to hear Aunt Bee's voice coming from that face.

I agree Pierre, those do look like Bette Davis eyes.

Your welcome, Laura Lee. Thanks really should go to Jim Clark, Presiding Goober of, TAGSRWC. I scanned it out of an old copy of their newsletter, The Bullet.

Wow.  How could I have missed that before.

For comparison:

nope, not that one:

Let us try:

You know Frances's  Betty Davis eyes do come out once in a while.  Especially if she is upset or passionate about something.
