Title: Frances Bavier On Dupont Theatre
Post by Keevy Hazelton on Jan 2nd, 2012 at 10:26am

Frances Bavier from an episode of the 1956 anthology series, Dupont Theatre, titled, The Blessed Midnight. The show was one of 50 on a DVD I bought from Walmart's $5 bin, and what a bargain. They were all Christmas episodes from classic B & W TV shows like, Ozzie and Harriett, Jack Benny, Dragnet, M Squad, Racket Squad, and a slew of the anthology shows. It was fun spotting all the TAGS alumni, but no Mr. Schwump sightings. I really enjoyed this classic TV compilation and would be interested in purchasing similar packages if anyone knows of an outlet.

Could you tell us the title of the DVD set so any of us interested, as I am, might try to find it?

Sure, here's a link to it at Walmart: Holiday TV Classics

For the entire episode list, go here: Mill Creek Entertainment

the episode "the cop and the anthem" description sounds strangely familiar...

I found my 150 essential westerns 12 DVD set at Jewel Foods, kind of a Kroger of the north.  They carry a modes number of DVDs.  Some recent stuff, some classic stuff and some are in a bargain bin.

It contains a couple full length movies.  The rest are 30ish minute TV shows from series's long past.  I've posted TAGS alumna sightings in other threads.  Not a Schwamp among 'em though.

Best I kin tell you is peruse every possible shelf and outlet for DVDs.  Check in the back of the shelf.  Some folks will squirrel the good 'uns in the back until they got the money to go back.  I would never do that, though... Well... not soes you'd notice!  ;)
