Aw, you're thinking of Mary Wiggins, Opie's classmate in "The Beauty Contest"

It actually aired FIRST when TAGS first aired, but "Mayberry On Record" was taped first as it is episode #19 and "The Beauty Contest" is #20.

Well it's kind've a trick question, but you're technically correct. Mary is the first one viewers actually saw in the barber shop.
