Why not open that area up so we can discuss books?

I promise to whisper.

You can do that in Recess.  The Library is for archiving of threads that are posted in any other area of the school that we don't want to loose track of.

Yes that's normal.  The posts in the Library are ARCHIVED to keep.  Please don't write in the books. Smiley

Good thing I found this thread.

The other day, I was trying to post on the Bloopers thread and could not find a Reply button or a Message window. This confused me because even though it indicated that I could not post or edit there, that thread is designated with a Very Hot icon instead of a Locked icon. Also, the description for the School Library thread still indicates in part "Students will not be allowed to create new topics but they are allowed to add to topics in our knowledge base.". To me, this implies that although we can't post new topics, we still can post replies to existing topics there.

To explain this contradiction, why not indicate on the main page that all threads listed in the LIBRARY ARCHIVES SECTION are Read Only?
