breakfast

Mr McBeevee's Make-ahead Breakfast

(with my modifications)
1 lb sausage
6 slices bread, cubed
2 cups grated cheese, sharp
6 eggs
2 cups milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp mustard

Crumble and cook sausage until done.  Drain.  Grease 9 X 13 pan and line bottom with cubed bread.  Top with sausage then cheese.  In bowl, combine eggs, milk and seasonings.  Beat well and pour over layers in pan.  Cover and refrigerate overnight.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

We had this last night with gravy and biscuits.  It's delicious! Smiley

I make breakfast for supper 1 night every week. That's what we had tonight. Bacon, eggs, and bisquits and gravy.
When I was a kid we used to have supper for breakfast on Sundays at my grandmas. Fried chicken, mashed potatos, green beans, and bisquits and gravy.

We do the same thing; we call it a breakfast supper.

We do, too! Usually a short stack and Georgia cane syrup. Bacon. Homemade biscuits and sausage gravy.

I take biscuits and gravy to work the next morn to share.

Cane syrup on a fluffy biscuit is good stuff. I also like Blackburn’s syrup as well.

Probably.  Just cook it and crumble it like the sausage.
