You need;
2 coin silver pint mugs, chilled
several sprigs of fresh mint
8 oz. crushed ice
2 tsps. granulated sugar
1/2 pint 12 yr. old bourbon
In one mug place the mint after gently shredding by
hand, being careful not to bruise the mint.
Add the sugar, and 2 ozs. ice.
Mix with a wooden spoon.
Add the rest of the ice.
Throw this mixture away.
Drink the bourbon.
