1 stick butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
1/2 cup plain all purpose flour
1 6 ounce bag of chocolate chips
1 cup nuts (like pecans or walnuts)
Mix all that together and put into one of those store bought pie shells. Bake at 375 degrees (preheated oven) for about 40 minutes. Pie should be golden brown but jiggle a tag bit in the center. It sets when it cools. Serve this pie slightly warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
