July 30, 2008 - Msg 64560: Good hot morning:

Happy birthday BOO and POSSUM.

Me-They: Good to hear about your grandmother and the kitten...Prayers for your family..my daughter went through a stage where her s's and t's came out funny and I was worried..We took her to a speech therapist and it was just a stage. On a lighter note JOURNEY: Read "Rolling Stone" and Journey's new 3 cd/dvd package "Revelation" got a great review including the whole disc on new songs. The first disc consists of 11 new songs, the second is filled with 11 re-recorded classics, and the third is a live, in-concert DVD. I say we check it out...

MILK DUD and I played tennis again this morning before the heat and she is getting so good. She loves beating her dad at anything and especially tennis...she sees the golfers all around as we play and she nows says she wants to learn to play golf..I bought her a play golf set when she was 5 and another at age 7..and we had an indoor putting green set up at my house in Dallas that we used to have alot of fun with...I am so happy and I will have to set up lessons in Dallas if we can fit into her schedule...She is bummed out that the news channels are reporting that Miley Cyrus might leave Hannah Montana after this season...Miley De'Lab is doing good and we are all bonding...Everybody have a good day....The "Dud"

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64561: I told MILK DUD that more business deals are made and completed on a golf course than the boardroom and she said "I don't care about business deals Daddy, I want to learn to drive the carts". The "Dud"

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64562:
Hey Folks

Wow, reading the high temps you folks get makes me feeling a little guilty, complaining about our upper 80's. It won't stop me from bullying aching but it does take the fun out of it, a bit.

Gas Price have dropped here by almost 15 cents the last week or so, we're now at $4.19 gallon.

Me-They Our youngest went through a stuttering spell. It didn't last long but it was kinda strange, as well as, kinda cute.

Big Maude-Glad to hear you're healing well, continued prayers. And, thanks for the breakfast.

Asa- If I was Obama, I'd throw myself off a cliff, (the preceding was simply an attempt at humor, it does not endorse or condone suicide, euthanasia and/or any form of violence, directed at our guardian angel from Illinois) actually, I would pick Sam Nunn. Although, the danger in picking Nunn would be that he would dwarf Obama at every turn. As for McCain, I hate to sound flip but, I almost don't care. I hate the GOP's sloppy mushy slog to the center. ... I guess Mitt.

Boo- I'm praying for ya. What you do for those girls is humbling.

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64563: auh2o: Good to hear from you and as for politics, I will keep things to myself. 87 degrees here at 10:00 AM and climbing..

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64564: DUD: Don't stop belieeeeevin'...

AUH2O: I see the Republicans have gotten another nail in their coffin this morning (Alaska senator). Bad luck, bad karma, or bad behavior? One thing you've got to give McCain credit for, he's carrying a lot of baggage for the party this election season. And he's no spring chicken anymore.

For veeps, I don't particularly care for all his politics, but I think McCain might pick Tom Ridge. I think Obama will pick anyone but Hillary.

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64566: Well I called MILK DUD'S mom and she got on the phone and told her mother she wanted to stay another week, and we arranged it....called the golf pro at the club about lessons and he could not squeeze her in at cooler lesson times....he suggested a mature lady (friend of mom's) who is a great golfer/teacher of young ladies and to give her a call about starter lessons...made the call and MILK DUD is all set up for tommorrow at 7:00 am. Will take the MILK DUD to play tennis to warm up and then to lessons to see if she likes it...Club pro says my first good golf clubs that I got when I was 10 are the perfect size for MILK DUD. Certain things you keep for your first born male, never happened and now I can give it to my daughter....have a great day.....The "Dud"

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64568: Well I am gonna have to talk about MILK DUD again...and I apologize...Lady Friend called and invited my daughter to a chick flick night with her and friends at her house...she will order pizza from JOHNNY"S (heard of it REV) and they will watch girl flicks..gonna take MILK DUD to the remaining Blockbuster Video down the street to get her anti-male? propaganda...I will be able to watch the new episode of "BLACK GOLD" with my oil and gas production friends (Dinner of Shrimp, Scallops & Frog Legs) and meet up with the ladies later........see ya....The "Dud"

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64569: Thank you, Me-They. I, too, believe in a kingdom of darkness that is forever at war with The Kingdom of Light. Sometimes its just hard for me to "get" that I would actually be a target. Prayers for your grandparents, it must be so hard to get old.

Very interesting about the Jewish woman at VBS. Are you certain she is not a Messianic Jew? How did you know she was Jewish? I wonder, if she is, why she would want to teach a Christian VBS curriculum. Pray that she is enlightened by the teaching of the gospel.

I don't know much about stuttering but I will do some research...

I'm not following, DUD...

Boo

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64570: No problem, DUD. You run on all you want about your daughter. We all love hearing about our kids.

BOO: Not to go too deeply into it, but she makes no secret of the fact that she attends the church because her busband and in-laws do. The only reason the Mrs. knows about it is because the lady was up fron tabout it at a meeting when she was asked to teach sunday school. Evidently, she is teaching just to help out, which is nice of her by the way. However, my concern is still there.

M-T

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64571: So, in case it's not clear, she's basically a believing but non-practicing Jew. But she does not consider herself a Christian, or a "believer."

M-T

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64572: I did some reading on stuttering, via some websites and I didn't find anything that mentioned brain tumors or even neurologic injury as a cause for stuttering. What I read talked about some children going through a stage of stuttering as they were learning to talk and beyond but most outgrew it or the stage may last 6 months or more. There seems to be a genetic link. I did come across a site which talked specifically about stuttering in pre-schoolers. There is some pretty good info out there, when you have time to look at it, M-T.

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64573: Boo: I am about to leave for the night and my point is, my whole family grew up on a Southern porch, if nothing else to get a cool breeze...all I heard as a child was politics and my grandfather was the best...we know that TAGS didn't spend time talkin' about politics on the porch...but in the real world on those porches it happened all the time...in Texas at the coffee Klatches at the local Dairy Queen to the local diners here in La., people congregate and talk politics......If ya'll don't want that, I respect that...and I will abide by the rules...but Why just Me???? The "Dud"

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64574: Interesting situation, there. It is nice that she would be willing to help out.

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64575: I wan't aware that anyone had asked you not to speak about politics. I must have missed that but it certainly doesn't bother me if you do. The only reason I don't is because I don't know enough about it to join in. I say speak your mind.

Boo

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64576: When you hear my babbling, I'm speaking my mind.

Hey Dud, no need to apologize about talking on Milk Dud. Your a proud Pappy and sound like you have every right to be. And same on politics. I have no problem if you talk on it. Did someone say something? I must have missed it if they did.
I love to golf so I hope Milk Dud takes a shine to it. I've played many sports over the years and I can say without hesitating that golf is the most challanging in all aspects. The mental, emotional and physical components all come into play and all need to be controlled. But it's sure fun when you're playing good. As someone once said, "golf is the only game people talk about working on." That sums it up.

I find that a little odd too MT. I think your concerns are justified to a degree I suppose. I'm not sure why she would want to teach something like that if she's not a believer. Maybe God is trying to reach her? Could be. Might work. Might not.

Asa

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64579: Just checking in before the big night, MILK DUD is so happy about her CHICK FLICK NIGHT...and as ya'll know my daughter is being brought up Jewish and I do not understand why she was brought in as a VSB teacher...we tell all of my daughter's teachers before MILK DUD visits VSB that she is being raised Jewish and to sometimes expect the unexpected...they usually laugh and say glad to have her....The "Dud"

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64580: Me-They: Let me clarify, I do not understand why someone who says they are Jewish is teaching VBS...If no one else was available I can understand..otherwise, not....The "Dud"

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64581: When you think of a Christian teaching Islam to kids at a mosque, vice versa, or an atheist teaching any faith to anyone, it seems stranger. But there's really no difference. My question to y'all would be, would it bother you if your kids Sunday school teacher whispered to you, "Confidentially, I'll teach this Jesus stuff to your kid, but I think it's a fairy tale?" Well, broken down to basics, that's what is going on. I hope this is His plan.

Chick flicks--YUCK! I been thinking of going to see "The Dark Knight." Not too into superhero movies, but I hear it's a good one.

Y'all have a good one!

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64584: I think what M-T was trying to say is (and correct me if I'm wrong M-T), how can someone teach another person effectively something that they do not believe themselves. I'm sure he could have interchangeably put in Catholicism, Mormonism, or any of various religions/non-religions. I got his point (and wholeheartedly agree) and do not think it was a slam to being Jewish.

Happy Bday to possum and Boo! Blessings on you both.

Prayers for all.

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64585: Please see my previous comments...I do not agree that a Jewish person of faith should be teaching VBS unless there is no one else..If there is no one else than a Jewish person who beleives in the Old Testament would be better than someone who teaches the Koran or an Atheist. That is all......The "Dud"

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64586: Thanks AFD!!

Hi MDC, are you stayin' cool?

DUD, I'm sorry Me-They's comments upset you and of course, only he can explain himself, but knowing Me-They as long as I have, I know he would never knowingly insult your little girl. He has a great, big heart. So, what are you going to be doing tonight while the girls are watching chick flicks?

Boo

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64587: Oh, there you are, DUD. Yes, it would make much more sense for someone who believes in the Old Testament to be teaching VBS.

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64588: Good Afternoon Porch,
My cow it's miserably hot and humid here!! Just about can't stand it! Of course I do as long as we're in the watering hole in the afternoons. What do y'all do for the heat? Who invented the air conditioning? That Mr./Mrs. deserves a Nobel Peace!
Spot- I live in Roswell/Sandy Springs area of ATL. I'm with all of the 400 traffic.
Asa- I hope your garden grows well for ya. Your grandbabies sound as sweet as can be!
Me-They- I'd be matter than a hornet in your position. Seriously. It's neat that a person would volunteer, but you'd think that a requirement of the teaching at the church is that they'd be of the same religion. I seriously doubt if someone of the Buddhist faith would appreciate a Christian coming in and telling their children about Jesus. Oh, and don't get me started on the hoochie mama clothing!
AFD- Hey! Are y'all doing okay?
Romeena- Yay about Joe! Praise the Lord!
Dud- I didn't read how old your little girl is? I love to golf (don't get Asa and Chuck started), but haven't really been lately. I told my 10 year old that we need to get out to the driving range soon. He's never tried, but said if I do it he will. He's signed up for tennis lessons to start in September. He's done swimming lessons and camp all summer. Today he canoed in the pool, fun!
Boo- You're such a good Mama! When's your birthday? Did I miss it? If so, happy birthday!
Possum- Did I miss your birthday too? Happy Birthday to you too.
Homemaker- How are you? Is everything okay? Come back for another visit when you have time.
MDC- Good luck with your bosses. Look forward to hearing from you when you can.
Big Maude- Glad you're doing better. I hope it continues.
Well, I need to get dinner fixed. Nick is at a friends house about 20 minutes away and I have to leave in an hour to pick him up. Have a great evenin'!
Blessings,

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64589: Afternoon Y'all! Thanks for all the kind wishes. It's been a good birthday. One of my sisters gave me some of those Mayberry's Finest products- have y'all tried any of them? I got muffin mixes- cinnamon toast, chocolate chip something(?) and peach cobbler. I baked the peach muffins- they're pretty dang good! Can't wait to try the others.

Well, I'm off to look at something on YouTube. Did any of y'all see a feature on the Today show about a lion that some men raised, then released into the wild? It's a reunion between the men & the lion. My sister said she cried,my daughter said it made her cry,and said even lil' Laci got emotional watching it. I think it can be found if you type " Lion remembers men " or something like that into the search box on YouTube. I'm off to check it out- see y'all later!

I have seen that Lion video, Possum and it is so sweet! HAPPY BIRTHDAY POSSUM!!

Thank you, Lucy. YOU are the good mama!! My birthday IS tomorrow (July 31st, or August 1st...I'll explain later). I will be 46 years young and I am feeling pretty good. I know I must have shared this before, but when I was born waaay back in '62, I was born on a Wed. night at the stroke of midnight. Well, for some reason the doctor asked my Dad if he wanted my birthdate to be July 31st or August 1st and he chose July 31st. I think that if I was born at midnight, it should be August 1st, so I like to celebrate for 2 days instead of one (Ha, actually I just celebrate on July 31st). Either way, I'll be 46 and I REALLY like birthdays (mine and others, too). What other day do you actually get to celebrate the existence of another human being? Wow.

Gotta get ready for church...oh, Lucy, I wanted to mention something to you that you might like to try with your kids. I have a hard time keeping my kids from begging for fast food. Drives me crazy and we usually end up eating Sonic or Whataburger at least once a week. Our pastor and my friend, Keith are going on a mission's trip to Mexico at the end of the month and I have been trying to think of ways I can give them money to take along to buy things for the children where they are going. The other day I asked the kids if they wanted to go without fast food for a month and we can donate the money we saved to go to the mission in Mexico. I got a unanimous "yes"!...we'll see how it goes once they actually have to give it up. I am trying to get creative about finding ways to save in order to share...now, that's what will call it: "Save To Share"...

Better be off!

Boo

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64598: Dud, I realize after a few of your comments that you think you are being picked on? I’m sorry if I had a part in that misconception. I looked back at your posts, and you said things like you "...offended some people” and “I have been slapped down by the porch and I will not comment on politics...Why just Me?” I’m truly sorry if it was me that made you feel that way, because I looked back thru several pages of archives and didn’t see where anyone else told you not to post, so it must have been my comment. Here it is again:
July 25, 2008 - Msg 64451: Well, hopefully, Dud, if we don't discuss the scandal here, we'll all be taking the high road by keeping the porch free of trashy news.

I may have phrased my comment wrong, but what I was getting at was your post just struck me kind of “tabloid-ish”, if you know what I mean. Sometimes I read a post, and I comment on it immediately, when I really should wait a couple hours, and think about it, I guess. (I've made that mistake before, folks; I guess I didn't learn my lesson...) Anyhow, that’s what I meant, to encourage all of us to keep gossip type stories off the porch. I didn’t mean for you to feel singled-out, and I do apologize. I wasn’t really referring to politics, but rather to scandalous stories in general. Again, sorry!
From here on out I’ll be like Barney in “A Black Day for Mayberry” When the media was trying to get Barney to comment on the gold shipment coming through town. “No Comment!”

July 30, 2008 - Msg 64599: Boo- You're so sweet. I'll think about that fast food thing with the kids. Actually, I'm the one with more of a fast food addiction than the boys. Romeena- You take it easy now, ya hear?
Possum- I'll check that out!

Hazel- Please, please, comment! I think we may have differing views but I love hearing your take on things. Everyone loves to see you post.

Dud- You also, please comment, that's what we're here for. I, too, grew up surrounded by political discussion, most of which was left of center. I used to love debating the professors in school, boy I miss that. I think they enjoyed it also. But, I'm learning there are a lot of people that don't have the same passion for politics/history or they simply don't like to engage. Either way, a respectful discussion on the merits of the Civil War, "WKRP in Cincinnati," or mayonnaise versus Miracle Whip, I think is always welcomed here.

M-T Yoy, keep to yourself! haha I know, we couldn't stop you from commenting.

Boo- You deserve all the accolades that come your way.

Lucy- Thanks for letting me know about the book. I bought "Dearest Friend, A Life of Abigail Adams" at a yard sale for 50 cents about 4 months ago. I haven't read it yet. But, it was brand new, I don't think it was ever opened. It's kinda like and emergency book. Always have one at the ready.

That was a very nice post above, Hazel...I always value your opinions and just, generally like to hear from you. You're a good egg, for a chicken (heehee) and you have a very well-developed sense of humor, although sometimes you tend to use "foul" language...Just kidding! Love ya!

Yep, Lucy, its a good thing there is not a Chik-Fil-A in my area. I have to drive at least 20 miles for one (thankfully)! Love the chicken sandwich (no offense, Hazel).

Hope you have fun with the guys, DUD.

Well, Bruce had a meeting with the builder tonight and he invited us to his home for a Bar-B-Q. He said he never accepts a job until his wife meets the family and feels ok about it. Bruce told her that he feels the same way and that he trusted my instincts about things, too. So, I guess we will meet and see where things go from there. Bruce is feeling very stressed, though. He stresses alot of finances (like most people, I guess) but he is putting himself under so much pressure. I am trying to get him to redo the plans and cut down the size of the house so he won't worry so much. He says he knows he would be fine with a house that costs around 250,000 but any higher than that and he is going to stress. I don't think we can build it for that much, especially if we are paying a builder 10%, so we might be back to the drawing board. We are praying alot and when we do build the house, we know there is a great possibility of elderly parents living with us or family members and friends in need so we really want some space, but it is hard to launch out on a project like this when the economy is like it is now.

Guess I should think about hitting the hay...have to be up bright and early tomorrow. Goodnight...see ya'll in the morning with my first cup of coffee.

DUD: Gosh! In no way was I trying to demean your daughter. I’m sorry you took it that way and I apologize for not being clearer. I would never insult you or your daughter intentionally.

As BOO explained, I was just trying to draw a line to the absurdity of the situation. In an important sense, I’d say that, in matters of their faith, Christians and Jews have much in common and are closely akin to one another. Of course there is at least one crucial difference.

HAZEL: I find your opinions refreshing. You are obviously very smart and thoughtful and that comes out in your posts. In fact, I wish you’d post more often.

BOO: I read this in the Reader’s Digest and thought you’d get a kick out of it (I’m going from memory here): “I suffer from CDO. It’s like OCD, but with the letters in alphabetical order like they’re supposed to be.”

AUH2O: For your information Mr. Smarty Pants, there are lots of things I have opinions about but have not shared: when and where fingernail clipping is appropriate, people who can’t parallel park but try on busy streets, urinals that run continuously, Ramen noodles, Flamenco music, Larry King, watering grass in the middle of the day, and people putting fake shutters on their house upside down. I’ll let you figure out which things I’m for and which against.

You all read books? Hey, if I can’t find it in the TV Guide, it’s just not worth knowing.

AFD: How’re the young ’uns? Besides the stuttering issue, my girls, and boy, are doing fine. We are supposed to go to Dutch Wonderland next week. It’s an amusement park in PA geared towards kids through age 8. We figured we’d squeeze in a last special trip before school starts.

Talk to y’all at lunch. You have me hungry for Chick-fil-A. Their chicken sandwich is absolute perfection. I don’t know what they put in that batter, but it must be crack. Ever see a Chick-fil-A sign, get your mouth all watering for one, and then realize it’s Sunday? It happens to me more than I care to admit. But I really respect the fact that they have resisted opening on Sundays and important holidays. And based on the line usually wrapped around their building, it doesn’t seem to be hurting their bottom line.

In your case, I can only assume he was referring to a question you may have had previosuly or is getting you confused with someone else's post. He'll probably clear up the matter.

Just a reminder to all, though, that we need to remember to sign our posts. FLOYD has requested as much, and it helps to identify friends from interlopers, who we give "the big freeze" to if not friendly.

YEA to our all star little leaguers. If you follow baseball or the news, you may remember the Warner Robins All Star Little League who won the world championship against Japan this past year. Our boys were the ones that went out and consoled the Japanese boys on the pitchers mound after Japan's loss. It was truly an amazing, goose-bumping sight watching it on ESPN. Well our this years little leaguers just won state title for Georgia and they are headed to St. Petersburg, FL for the regionals. Columbus, GA won the world series in 2006 and Warner Robins, GA won it in 2007. Our 2007 little leaguers are still on the road from that winning with trips to the White House, the David Letterman Show, the Governors mansion in GA (which by the way - Governor Sonny Perdue is my mama's cousin) but I never got an invite to his mansion. :) Anyway, our guys have had an awesome experience they'll remember for the rest of their lives. Let's wish our guys best of luck this go around too.

BOO: Dutch Wonderland does sound dull on the face of it, but it's actually an amusement park ala Six Flags but not that big and with all the rides geered toward little kids. So, I guess it will be less than thrilling for us grown ups but pretty fun for the kids. And I don't beleiev they have any wooden shoes.

ANT D: Here at the Porch we have two basic rules. Memorize them so that you can say them in your sleep. Rule #1: Obey all rules. Rule #2: Keep your toes in your shoes, out of sight. Thank you.

July 31, 2008 - Msg 64628: Hey MDC, I am still using the Foreman grill but not for anything healthy! Mostly grilling sandwiches with lots of cheese...mmm.

Possum, some folks are like Barney (sensitive)...not speaking of anyone in particular, of course.

M-T, I like to take the kids to a christmas-themed amusement park called The North Pole in Manitou Springs, CO. I think I have spoken of it before, and it is fu-UN! Small enough not to wear out completely but big enough to have lots of rides. We have to do some walking uphill which is kind of tiring in that alttitude (it is at the base of Pike's Peak) but worth the effort. It's very "vintage" and has been in operation a long time. It is on the side of a mountain with lots of pines and there is almost always some snow on the ground for throwing snowballs (big stuff to us Texans). It also has a giant ferris wheel that I wouldn't be caught dead on (which is precisely my fear).

Wanna hear something funny? Remember I was talking about how stressed Bruce was about finances. He even took a day off of work because of it. Anyway, his sister called today and asked for 500.00! Haha, the timing was perfect. We just had to laugh. I guess we will give it to her. She is the one who I mentioned last week who moved to San Antonio to get a job with HEB (grocery store) and I guess she underestimated the cost. Oh well...

Bruce and the kids went out to get me a birthday cake. We will be taking it to my parent's house later to celebrate. I have a favorite uncle and aunt from Houston visiting and they are precious people, so that is a pleasant thing to have on my birthday!

Talk to you later...

Hey Asa, auh20, Tom!
Boo- It seems you've had a nice birthday, at least today's!
Spot- Everything on that list sounds simply divine! I'll be right over.
I'm plum tuckered tonight. I've had nightmares the last 2 nights and I really need a good night's sleep. Do y'all think God is talking to you in your dreams? I just wonder what he's trying to say about getting bit by a big green snake and a house being on fire. What do y'all think? Bryan thinks I'm just stressed.
Blessings,
~Lucy

August 01, 2008 - Msg 64641: Hey Auh2o, it took me a minute but I finally got T-H-A-T joke! Clever.

"Ramshack House"?!! Hahaha...Lucy, it's Remshaw House (I think, anyway...isn't it?). When things are "odd" on the porch, it is usually due to Count Istvan Teleky.

Yes, Lucy, any birthday together with family is a good one. It was more stressful than most of mine but I am still thankful. BTW, I value the safety of my family, so there were NO candles on my cake.

Hmmm, tell us more about the dreams and maybe we can give you a better opinion. I think God can talk to us in our dreams and I think our subconscience can tell us alot about what is bothering us, too...it gives us lots of clues. Only you can figure out what the green snake symbolizes and the house being on fire. Stress could certainly have something to do with it if your brain is trying to "de-stress" at night. I had an interesting dream last night and I was moving toward an open door and outside the door was a beautiful sunset (or sunrise, not sure) and later I woke up hearing this verse of scripture in my mind: "Lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven, where moths do not destroy, neither theives break in and steal...". Was it God? May have been or may have been because I we were stressing over finances last night. Dreams are pretty fascinating, aren't they?

Well, speaking of dreaming, I think I will go to bed (hope I don't dream about green snakes and fires...) I wouldn't be surprised if I had bad dreams, though. I picked up a Reader's Digest at my sister's house and read an article about a man whose family was killed by a serial killer years ago, very sad and read something about the "Voice of The Martyrs" organization that helps the persecuted church in the world. I read a couple of stories that just were so sad about children. I won't give you any details but we need to be so mindful of others in this world who are persecuted for their faith.

Guess I will see ya'll in the morning with my cup of coffee, Lord willing.

Peace,
Boo

August 01, 2008 - Msg 64646: Mornin' ya'll - How's all of my fellow porchsters on this B-E-A-utiful Friday morning? I've taken off work today to hang out with Bailey and Dawson (their last day of summer freedom before school starts on Monday). Dawson wants to go skating today at the skating rink. I'll hang out on the sides and play a game of Scrabble on my cell phone. And Bailey wants me to take her to get her nails done and her eyebrows waxed so she'll be all purty for school on Monday. Me? Well I need to get to some weed eating and edging that my hubby missed when cutting the grass. Mind you, we've only been married for 1.5 years. I feel like I married a beach boy and brought him to the country. It's hard for me to relinquish that control of doing things "my way because they get the job done better" and just let him have at it. But I'm so doggone blessed to have such a great hubby that helps out soooooo much around the house. The kids and I love him. He's a keeper!

Peace and love my brotha's and sista's!
