Good to see you Rev. Glad your home safe and sound. Maybe we should have a parade to celebrate your homecoming. We will start at the Courthouse and proceed north to the Hotel (approx. 300 yards) where you will be greeted by a throng of adoring fans and Mayberry dignitaries to welcome you home. Possum and Boo, you are on traffic control. Spot, you will lead the procession with armpit music. (I hope you can make armpit music while marching). And MDC, you drew the short straw buddy. You will be bringing up the rear with shovel and garbage can cleaning up horsey poop. Sorry about that. :)

August 07, 2009 - Msg 74436: I love chocolate

August 07, 2009 - Msg 74437: Cold and snowy on my porch this morning. I'm sooo ready for spring to sprang.

Romeena, I could not agree more with your post. I believe our Consti-tution to be an inspired document. And I beleive that God has smiled upon this nation because of our complying with His word. Ans as the Rev put it so well, He will not favor disobedience. To respond to MT's thoughts, No, I don't think God loves anyone more or less based on what country they live in. But I do believe He is faithful in his dealings with those who are faithful to Him. It's really not a difficult premise, although sometimes man will make it difficult. Not saying you do that. I think sometimes we can be overly anylitical in our approaching spiritual things. Again, not saying you do that. Just throwing it out there for anyone to chew on.
And although I would agree that wealth and blessings are not always to go hand in hand, I think it's all part of His plan for us, to grow and to learn. Wealth and prosperity can be a blessing or a hinderence to our walk with the Lord, depending on us. I'm not one to immediatly condemn someone with wealth, as being evil or wicked simply because they are wealthy. There are many I know who use there wealth for good and decent purposes. John Huntsman comes to mind for me here at a local level. A billionaire many times over, as founder and President of Huntsman Chemical, he is now devoting his life, and his wealth to finding a cure for cancer. He has opened a cancer research center in Salt Lake and is pouring millions of dollars into research and finding a cure to this horrible disease. His goal, is to find a cure to this, and die a broke man id needed. I just throw that one example out there. There are many many more examples. Wealth is not the problem. It is man's inability to be able to deal with it that's the problem. And one we will all need to deal with.
I'm probably making no sense with any of this. I just see in general, a disposition in this country right now to try and attack those in the country who have achieved and done well. Rightfully so, some who have done so at the expense of others have come under fire, but many others who are decent and wonderful people are being accused unfairly, simply because they have been succesful in their efforts.
Sorry, didn't mean to get all preachy.
Better shut up and get to work before I run y'all off and lose my job in the process. LOL

Love y'all.

Got eight folks staying here, and with the ones who live here coming in for meals and visiting, we get up to fifteen. I fried pork chops for fifteen tonight! Had two skillets going, 'cause there ain't no way any of this bunch would eat just one. Did you ever fry thirty pork chops? Also had noodles, grits for those of us who like them, good old milk gravy, peas, green beans, hot bread - yum! I don't think anyone went away hungry.

I have never seen so many huge tennis shoes in all my life, in piles by the door. I'm just grateful they stay by the door and aren't worn across my ivory carpets.

We have had a wonderful visit. So far, the baseball tournament that precipitated this visit has gone well - they're winning. One more game tomorrow, and it's over. Part of the group leaves tomorrow night, the rest on Sunday. I will miss them.

Someone asked me what part of Michigan they're from. All are originally from around the K'zoo area, one now lives in Chicago, and one couple is Galesburg. This is my husband's brother and his wife, his son and his wife, and grandsons. Such kind and pleasant people - Walt is so like my Dale - just a gentle, considerate man.

Oh no, I left my yellow runnin! Sorry folks did that fix it?

August 08, 2009 - Msg 74451: Shew good thing! Now, for my last 10 days or so, it started when some online friends of mine sent me an email saying the will be in my area for about a week & wanted to get together & meet in real life, I have been following their adventures of buying & living full-time in a 42' bus for nearly the last 3 years. I met them when I got this story in my email and decided to keep reading & follow their adventures. http://www.cutesmalldogs.com/Pages/Bus/04Accident.html
Well, let me tell you what wonderful folks Elsa & Dennis are! We had a ball! They took us to dinner & we visited nearly everyday while they were here. We took them to the Monster Truck Jam at Bristol Motor Speedway to show them all about TN "doings" & were they every enthralled with it all. Being from CA, they had never seen anything like that & they really did enjoy themselves. We watched from the BMS suite, had snacks, drinks and A/C while watching. I sure hated to see them go, but they promise to be back this way soon, they fell in love with the area. Elsa said before she left, "Now we can call ourselves 'reality' friends & not just virtual friends!" Ya'll have got to read that story of their dogs highjacking a truck and wrecking it causing nearly $38,000 to another motorhome.
Let's see, next the following Sun Mr. Neff & I headed out to Home Depot (no I didn't sit on any toilets, didn't have time) to pick out kitchen cabinets for the new house, the last part of the remodel. On the way home, we stopped at our repair shop to check on a couple of Penske trucks that had turned in over the weekend, made sure they were all locked & secure (they were) & headed home. Well, Mon morning, Mr Neff pulls into the lot & the 26' lift-gate truck is gone! He gets on the horn, calling the other Penske rental locations in the area to see if they came & got it for some reason, all of them said no. Someone STOLE it!! So after a day of police, Penske suits, the lat customer to rent the truck coming in to give a statement, etc. a report was filed & everyone was on the look-out for a big stolen yellow truck, where the heck do you hide a big yellow truck?? Ok, next day, detectives call from the next town over, asking about the stolen truck, how big, lift-gate or ramp truck, etc. Apparently, the stolen truck was taken 10 miles up the road & used in a tire warehouse robbery, every tire in the place was stolen & it was determined chances are that truck was used to haul them all out of there! The truck was finally found yesterday somewhere in IL! That was Mr. Neff's adventures.
Now for mine, I was in my grooming shop working on a little dog while all my dogs were outside enjoying the weather when all of a sudden I heard them really raising cain, I mean worse than I've ever heard them. So I go outside to check it out & see them all at the back corner of our 6' privacy fence throwing a fit trying to get at something, I walk around the front outside our privacy fence & see to boys about 8 years old standing up on a ladder type thing leaning over the fence teasing my dogs!! I was so mad, then I heard one of them say "Let me hit them with a stick & see what they do" then jump down & grab a stick! Just when I thought I couldn't get any madder, I found out I was wrong! Let me tell you, I got all over those boys & sent them running like scared rabbits! I was so mad I was shaking! I got the dogs in & was worried about my little old Dachshunds being so upset, they are too old for that kind of excitement. Once I settled down a little I called Mr. Neff & gave orders that I didn't care if we end up living in that motorhome for the next month, we are leaving this house & this neighborhood THIS weekend for the new house, finished or not! So orders have been given & we are loading up the dogs & us & heading out to the new house tonight or in the morning! I am so sick of this neighborhood I can't take anymore! My nerves are shot & if I have to go by myself I am going!
Anyway, that was most of my last 10 days, figure I've used up enough porch space for now, will tell you more about my brother, the house he lives in, the realtor & those problems later.
So, how was YOUR week?? teehee

Sounds like your week was more than interesting, Mavis. Maybe you need a day off to recover! My weekend was a busy one and I have alot of catching up to do around the house. We had Emily's birthday party on Saturday and Erin's birthday was yesterday (she turned eight)..we are celebrating today, though and i will fix her favorite dinner (my lasagna) and we will go bowling. She requested bowling for some reason? She asked for a toy Scooby Doo van for her birthday with the little action figures. So funny to think that I was watching Scooby at her age. That cartoon just never loses its popularity.

I guess SPOT is off "roughing it" (right) in that new camper. Hope you are having a great time,SPOT. To answer your question, yes I spent some time out on the place this weekend but only in the evenings. It is too dang hot out there in the day. We have been having 99 and 100 degree temps everyday for a while. Bruce and I sat out on my front porch, which almost has a roof now, and looked at the beauriful full moon Friday night. It was breezy and just perfect. Not cold but plenty cool enough just to be comfortable in shorts and short sleeves. What a moon that was on Friday. Did any of you get a chance to see it? It was beautiful and so serene and quiet out there. To tell you the truth, it was a little bit creepy. I'm not used to being so secluded. I guess I have gotten comfortable living across the street from the biker bar, and down the block from the tattoo shop (smile). Seriously, have you ever noticed that when the moon is full and you can see well at night, things just look kind of scary but when it is really dark and you don't see the forms and shadows as well, it feels safer or something...probably crazy, right? I'll tell you one thing, though, I can sit on that porch and just think for hours and there is never a time I don't think of all of you when I am sitting on my front porch. I am going to have to get used to the feeling of being alone out there, though. Something happened this weekend that makes me very happy, though. I have a friend named Matt (he used to be the youth minister at our church until recently) and he and his wife moved into the house across the street from our homestead! His grandmother had to move into assisted living, I think so Matt moved into her house. So I feel less alone out there now. :-):-)

Ro, sounds like you have been having fun! It's great to be with relatives for awhile...but not for too long (remember cousin Ollie?!). Did you have to call in a false report on some escaped convicts to get rid of them??? Did any of them have to sleep in with you and crowd you out of your own bed? Did they turn on the siren? ;-)

Well, I had better get on with the day. Be back later.

Boo

She was not looking forward to it but I suspect once she got there and saw all her friends she was fine. HOT weather the past few days, not as hot as some of the other porch areas though.

Busy week end, bought some new furniture, Beth needed new bedroom furniture, she had out grown the one she has so we had to upgrade to bigger ore adult type funiture, bought a new mattress for Mr. Maude and myself so Patrick will get our temperpedic. We are pretty frugal when it comes to furniture purchases so this was BIG for us, we generally "replace" as needed.

BOO, your porch sitting sounds fun, maybe we can have a picnic lunch one day when the weather cools down.

KY Girl, congrtas on your newest family member. Sounds like everyone is fine and dandy. My daughter and her hubby is due in December. It will be there first boy.

We had a nice cool down here over the weekend Boo. Our high yesterday was only 78. On Sayurday was only 68. Has been a nice break but supposed to be back to mid 90's by tomorrow. That's ok though. It's August. It's supposed to be hot.
Picking corn every night now. Dag-gum it's good stuff. I'll put my sweet corn up against Clara's pickles any day.

ASA, how nice it would be to have a little cool-off! Wish it was 68 here. We still have not had any real rainfall for many months and everything except the oak trees are brown. Good grief, Mavis, you DID have a week! Oh boy, I can just imagine your reaction to those boys teasing your dogs. If I had ever caught someone teasing the Plum, or threatening to hit her with a stick??? Oh my, it would not have been pretty, and I now feel the same about little Starr. Well, actually, I feel the same about any defenseless animal, for that matter. No excuse for that kind of behavior, and eight years old is really a little bit late for those boys to be learning that. They should already know it.

Walt and Anne left this afternoon (Saturday), the rest are up in McKinney at another ball game in the tournament. If they win, they have one more to play tomorrow. Then by tomorrow evening, all my company will be gone. I'll miss them. I'm alone at the moment, as I came home after lunch to see Walt and Anne off while the others went on to the game. It's just me, Starr and Bentley right now. Too quiet.

auh2o, I agree with Mavis. If you just feel you must make an identity change, go ahead, but I've always liked your name, think it's very clever, and if given a vote, I'd vote to keep it. Good to see you coming around again, by the way. We've missed you.

REV, I'm glad you're home for a while. I'll bet that home place looks like paradise when you finally make it there. I hope you get to stay for a little while now.

Well, TAGS is on TV Land for a change, guess I'll go watch. Be blessed, friends. --Romeena

August 10, 2009 - Msg 74470: Now, more up to date -- Boo, I'd just love to come and sit on your porch with you. Maybe that will happen someday, what with my granddaughter living in Port A. I know what you mean about the way the moon changes the appearance of things - I even see it from my window. Even with the landscape lights hitting the back fence, when the moon is bright the rest of the yard looks very different. Not spooky exactly, but different.

All my company is gone, I haven't even gone into the front part of the house yet, but there's no rush. I'll get the bed linens changed eventually, and be ready for the next wave, whenever it might occur.

Well, think I'll go "set a spell", and cuddle little Starr. She's a bit lonely, I think. She's such a sociable little thing, and loves it when we have company. Kinda droopy today, poor baby. Be blessed, friends. --Romeena

August 10, 2009 - Msg 74471: yea,I know what you mean Ro about the house feeling empty when the company leaves, especially if it's family.I get that way if my older kids that live nearby don't come to visit at least once a week. When the oldest comes home to visit from Tn,it is really hard to see them go.Went to dinner with my next to oldest son on Saturday. He and his girlfriend {of 2 and a half years} took me out to eat ,because we hadn't had time to see each other in about a month. We were talking about the new baby.I was pleasantly suprised when they started talking about "if they ever get married and have a baby what names they would like. Now,you have to understand that 2 years ago ,these subjects were never mentioned. So now that they are talking about it,seems it may have a chance of happening sometime.I think they are made for each other, but,Ikeep my nose out of it!Well,I'm at school early,I was so tired,I knew if I stayed home I would fall asleep!Better go,take care all-ky girl

August 10, 2009 - Msg 74472: (*creepin back on the porch*) Is it safe? I can come back for a while? Ya'll are the best. Romeena did the kids win that last game? Sounds like you had a wonderful time. Boo how lovely your place sounds, I would love to see it, maybe someday. Yes things have been quite crazy here lately, & what I posted is not even the half of it! But more about that later. Where is Me-They? working hard or hardly working? teehee
Well friends, back in a bit.
*Mavis

August 10, 2009 - Msg 74473: No, Mavis, they lost their last game on the third out of the bottom half of the last inning. It was soooo close! They were ahead by one point, and on the third out the hitter connected and batted in two runs. Poor Zack was heartbroken, of course. His parents remained philosophical about it, and eventually he brightened up, but he sure was drooping for a few hours. Actually, it was the next-to-last game. If they had won, they would have played the last game of the tournament, against a team they had beaten before. The team that beat them out was one they've never won against, so I guess it just wasn't to be. Too bad, but that's what builds character, I guess. At any rate, we all had a great time.

My nephew, who is a police officer and instructor in criminal justice at a college, gave me some pointers in the use of my new handgun. He also went to a Sports Authority store and bought me a locking safety box for the weapon, uses a combination of numbered keys to open it, so I wouldn't be searching for a key in an emergency. I feel much more secure with it stored in that box. It's kid-proof, but I'll still put it away, box and all, when the kids come over.

Well, back to TAGS. TV Land has been showing quite a big of TAGS lately. Hope they keep it up. Be blessed, all. --Romeena

August 10, 2009 - Msg 74474: Hey Folks,

I hope it didn't come across as me blaming Mavis for the porch breaking. If I worked a bit, I could fix the site so that wouldn't happen but I'm lazy so it's not her fault but the guy who wrote the code (me) that the porch works on.

Boo, you asked "what is HTML??"
HTML is the language used to create web pages and make things like colored text and click-able links. The porch allows folks to bold things and add colors and all that uses HTML. Don't worry if you don't know what it is....cause you won't be using it so you can't do it wrong. :) ha ha

August 10, 2009 - Msg 74475: Ky Girl, I know what you mean about subjects that are never mentioned. Seems like back in the olden days (you know, back in my younger days...) people always said things like "so, when are you guys going to have kids?" or "how come you two haven't had any kids yet?" and such as that. So, as much as I hate to see time moving so fast, I guess I am glad that things have changed to where nowadays people don't just come out and ask those type questions. Folks realize that it is perfectly natural for a couple to not want any kids, or maybe just one, or adopt, etc... And that it's a personal matter.
- Hazel

August 11, 2009 - Msg 74476: Good evening, porch. Hazel, I hear what you're saying, and agree. My oldest son and his wife have no children, and it irritates me a bit when people ask me why they don't. I can only imagine how it must bother them to be asked. It's a sensitive question, and people should be careful about asking. Whatever the reason, it's likely they wouldn't want to discuss it. If it was a personal choice, then it's exactly that - personal. If it just never happened, it's possible that the couple would be heartbroken about it, and wouldn't want to discuss it with just anyone. The old hospital rule of "need-to-know basis" can apply in all aspects of life, I think.

There's one thing that baffles me, though. Why are some pregnant women so touchy about the fact that they're "showing"? I have seen girls get really offended because someone remarks about their expanding girth, saying things like "so are you calling me fat?" No, dear, they weren't calling you fat. They were noticing your cute little bulge, and feeling all warm and fuzzy about the coming little one, so pull in your horns. I try to just say nothing, but in a group, invariably someone will, and then the mom-to-be gets all bent out of shape. I don't remember ever feeling that way, or recall that anyone did back in those days, but the present mommy-generation seems to be really touchy about it. I don't understand that. Of course her tummy is growing. It had better be!

Well, I have a doctor's appointment at ten in the morning, so guess I'll get to bed a little earlier than usual. He wants to discuss the results of the CT scan I had a couple of weeks ago. I don't anticipate any problems, I think he just wants to decide whether to do any further epidural steroid injections. Unless he can convince me that it's going to help more than the first one did, I'll vote against it, I think.

Be blessed, all. --Romeena

Hello porch family....Thanks Floyd for getting us back working on the porch.

Congrats to KYgirl....another blessing from God!

Wonder if Spot has caught enough fish for our fish fry yet?

Ro....you're right...I love to travel but home sure looks good when you get back.

You all have a good night's sleep. Love and prayers for all the porch family!

August 11, 2009 - Msg 74478: Ro, I trust that someday you will come for a visit. I look forward to it and the invitation is always open. Maybe we could have DES come and have a little reunion.
Oh, and you too, Mavis. Maybe you and Mr Neff can come for a visit, too.

Thanks for the explanation, Floyd...boy, sometimes I feel like an ignoramous when it comes to computer-speak.

I agree with you Hazel. I have known situations in which a person was not able to conceive and it was very emotionally painful to get asked "when are you going to have children?" We need to be sensitive to such things and don't bring up such things unless it is someone very close to you.

Romeena, I guess the tummy thing is just a result of the cultural obsession with thinness. Most girls think that being overweight is the worst possible fate (worse than cancer, violence or accidental death)!

Better hit the sheets...it's been a long day!

Boo

August 11, 2009 - Msg 74479: Morning all.
Hazel, good to see you.
All this talk of protruding belly's has got me feeling guilty. Guess I better start that new diet.... again. But I don't wanna hurt Spot or Maudies feelings though. They always cook up a storm. Hmmm, maybe I'll start the diet tomorrow. Yea, tomorrow, the best time to start a new diet. Pass the bacon please.

August 11, 2009 - Msg 74481: LOL, you are so funny ASA...don't eat all the bacon!

Hey TOM! Sorry about your stepdad. Prayers for him and you today. It has been such a hot summer, I agree. We are about to internally combust around here. We have had 35 consecutive days of temperatures over 95 and no rain. It usually stays around 99-100 during the day.

Well, I finished my coffee and need to get started on all that laundry before the middle of the day. I was outside doing it yesterday and it was HOT.

Hi Tom! Good to see you again.
Anyone else have any funny stories from summer vacations past?
Not much time to rock right now, but I'll be back.
God bless,

August 11, 2009 - Msg 74485: Speed, speed, speed. That's all you do, homemaker. You know, you don't have to drive fast all the time. You can go slow sometimes.

August 11, 2009 - Msg 74486: Funny summer stories...hmmm...a funny one that comes to mind takes place during a summer vacation/camping trip. I was probably 9 or 10 and my parents and sister and I were doing some site-seeing up on a hill. It had a lookout area at the top of the hill, with an asphalt trail leading up to it. When we began to head back down, Mom fell (she was wearing those shorts-coulot things you ladies might remember) and she landed flat on her bottom and started sliding down the asphalt trail. Turns out she hurt her elbow when she fell and needed our help but we were all laughing so hard that we were useless. She got pretty mad at Dad, as I recall.

Boo

August 11, 2009 - Msg 74487: Oh...and THEN there was the time we had some friends visiting one summer and my parents took them camping on the beach. We had this big blue tent that dad had put up several times before, but the men were drinking beer all day and they put the tent up upside down. I remember you had to step up about two feet to get in the door. They just left it that way.

Boo

August 11, 2009 - Msg 74488: ???How on earth do you put up a tent upside down?? That must have been a sight!

I saw the doctor today, got the results of the CT scan he did a couple of weeks ago. Because of my scoliosis, I have some compression on one side of my spine which is probably compromising some nerves. He said the only real fix for it is surgery, and neither he nor I see that as a viable option. He's going to try some PT, and see if strengthening the opposing muscles will help the alignment a little, thereby relieving the pressure. Also, he has ordered a TENS unit for me to use when it's really bothering me. I'm okay with both of those ideas, but not with surgery. Since it's not a constant thing, if we can't fix it with these conservative measures, then I'll just deal with it.

Well, gotta get ready for work. My little vacation is over, back to the grind. Oh well. Be blessed, friends. --Romeena

Hello porch family.

Tom....good to see you buddy. Prayers for your stepdad.

Slow down Homemaker. Barney has the motorcycle in service.

Boo....they must have had a lot of beer. Up-side down tent.....now that's a hoot.

Ro....praying that the PT will help relieve the pressure on the spine.

MDC...can't think of any funny summer vacation stories. I'm sure I had plenty but just can't recall any right now.

Have a good night. Praying for all the porch family. Remember....Jesus is your closest friend and He really loves you!
-REV.

August 11, 2009 - Msg 74490: No kidding, the tent was wider at the top than at the bottom but we slept in it because if they had tried it a second time we wouldn't have had a tent to get in at all. Those were the days!...and yes, I supposed it was alot of beer. I was only in middle school at the time so not sure how much.

August 11, 2009 - Msg 74492: Boo,I was wondering the same thing Ro was,how did they put a tent up upside down?Funny summer stories, there is only two that come to mind right now.One is about my Uncle. He had a rooster that was mean,so he rung it's neck and drove down the holler{no,it's not hollow}to throw it over the hill into the creek. He stopped by our place on the way back home to have a glass of tea,it was a hot summer night,we were all sittin outside on the porch.Next thing you know,we see a rooster going up the road toward my uncles house!Sure enough,it was the one he thought he had killed, guess it just knocked him out for awhile! My uncle went home and there was the rooster back in the yard!I'll stop by later and tell you the other one,I have to do a few chores-ky girl

August 11, 2009 - Msg 74493: What? The porch was broken? Did I miss something?

Oh wait, of course I missed something, cause I haven't been here very much.

Romeena, I'm hoping and praying they can do something for your back without surgery.

Funny story about the tent, Boo!
Can't think of any funny vacation stories myself right now. Maybe I'll have some after next week as we will be heading to Hawaii at the end of this week.
Don't anybody be jealous or anything because I would gladly give up my spot(and Kai's) to anyone who wanted them.
I know, I am probably the only guy in the world who doesn't care to go to Hawaii, but my wife really wanted Kai to go, and Kai doesn't want to go without me, so I guess I'm going.
It's not so much being there(though I think even Hawaii can get old), but more getting there. I don't think it is any secret that I don't trust the airlines any more than I could throw them.
I'll have to look back in the archives to when I was going to Las Vegas(another place I didn't want to go. And still don't, even though I was already there) to see what I was talking about then.
To top it off, the same type aircraft that fell apart over the Atlantic near France last month is the same model we are flying in, an A330. So in researching that, I learned that there have been quite a few incidents(mostly non-fatal, but still incidents) where the tubes that tell the plane how fast it is going, malfunctioned. And it is thought that these tubes contributed to, if not led to, the crash of that AirFrance flight.
Gee, that's comforting.
Northwest is supposed to have replaced them on the A330's since then, though apparently they mostly replaced them with newer tubes of the same brand, a French company named Thales.
I just wrote Northwest and Delta airlines(since they have recently merged) to ask if those replacements have been made, and if they are going to replace that brand with the Goodrich brand, made right here in the good ole USA, as they are said to have replaced some of the tubes with them, but are still working on replacing the rest.
But they are allowing the planes to fly during this change over. I would only hope they are allowing that due to their safety officers expertise and knowledge that it is safe to fly them, and not due to a fear they will lose money should the planes be out of service and in the garage.

I received an auto-reply from Northwest, saying they received my email and I can expect a reply within 12 days. Well, that will be a little too late, so I guess I might have to call them and pester them on the phone. Maybe Delta will respond a bit sooner.

Well, talk to you all later!

-Sterling Holobyte

August 12, 2009 - Msg 74497: Morning Dears.

Good to see you Possum. I was a wondering if you was ok. I do hope things calm down for you. Moving is always hard, and when it's so far away even tougher. I will keep your Mom and Nephew in my prayers. Wyomimg gets pretty cold and snowy in the winter. Hope they are good with that. We get a lot of folks move here to Utah and really struggle with the cold snowy winters.

MDC, Glad to see you finally got modernized and electonal there in the homestead. Hopefully your wires are plenty big.

Good to see you Sterling. I understand your concerns about a long flight over water like that. I'd be a mess too. But you know that God's in charge. He'll protect you all. I seriously doubt the airlines would allow any aircraft to fly that was deemed unworthy for the sake of corporate profit. There is to much litigation in our nation to do so I think. You have my prayers for a safe and fun trip.

Hope you find relief for your pain Ro. I went through a couple of months of P.T. for my lower back and it has really helped me. Although the exercises are tedious, I try to do them everyday cause I don't want to be back where I was last spring. I pray they are as good for you.

Boo, your tent story reminds me of Otis going into his cell after a snootfull. The one where they have the mattress on the wall because Jimmy the loaded goat is in there. And so Otis trys to lie on the matrress. HA! That scene always cracks me up. Otis is wondering how he fell out of bed and ended up lying on the wall. Funny stuff.

Well best get going. Lots to do today.

Prayers for all.
