Andrew Prine who played Gil Briscoe is probably best known for his western/military roles in the early sixties and was a mainstay on "Gunsmoke", but his best known film is his first starring role as James Keller in "The Miracle Worker", then came his military roles in "The Devil's Brigade" and such western films that include "Bandolero!" and "Chisum". In the seventies, Prine became some what of a ladies man, he's been married five times, and his career started entering into horror films including "Simon King of the Witches", "Nightmare Circus" and "Crypt of the Living Dead". He only made two major motion pictures in the mid seventies "Grizzly" and "The Town That Dreaded Sundown" and starred in the television world broadcast premier of "Wonder Woman". The eighties where the same in low-budget horror flicks that included the sequel to "The Amityville Horror"- "Amityville II: The Possession" and "Eliminators". He spent two years on the television series "Dallas" and then was in the major motion picture in 1993, "Gettysburg". Since then, Prine has been in direct to video releases such as "Serial Killer" and "The Shadow Men".
