Why didn't Ben get a new Ford Crown Victoria for the 1995 season? It would have had new taillamps and an interior like the current ones.
Also, why did Jeri drive a 1993 Ford Explorer when she came on the show in 1994? And she never got the much improved 1995 model either.
For example, the 1995 Ford Windstar was released and seen in a few episodes. but they couldn't update the main character's vehicles?
