The last regular episode was The Assault in Season 9, however there were two TV movie episodes after that, The Heist and The Scam.
In 1997, Andy Griffith guest starred in a TV movie of Diagnosis Murder, as Ben Matlock. Dick van Dyke from Diagnosis Murder guest starred in Matlock episode The Judge in Season 1 as Judge Carter Addison.
