2 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup margarine
2/3 cup (5 oz. can) evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups M&M's

Combine sugar, margarine, milk and salt in heavy 3-qt. saucepan; bring to full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Continue boiling over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter until melted. Add marshmallow creme and vanilla; beat until well blended. Fold in M&M's; immediately spread into greased 13X9" pan. Cool at room temp. Cut into squares.
Makes about 3 pounds. Good treat to eat while watching that doctor show on t.v.
